1. Right click the launcher shortcut, select Run as Administrator
2. Click on Update again
1. Proceed to the File path shown in the error message
2. Delete the files mentioned on the error message
On the above example, you delete C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\updateProgram\updateData\vcruntime140.dll
3. Exit launcher
4. Launch launcher as Adminstrator and attempt the update again
1. Download the latest launcher installer version here
2. End task launcher from Task Manager
3. Run the launcher installer, and install the launcher at where you have it currently installed
(Click Advanced Options to change launcher Installation path) This will overwrite the current launcher installation with the latest one
4. Run the launcher again
