Can't update the game through the launcher? You've came to the right place!

The following guide is updated to version 5.4.0 Download the game patch files first if you haven't already, check the Previous Page on Manual Download Guide Strictly follow this guide to avoid any mistakes This download guide is only applicable if you have performed manual download as listed in Manual Download Guide

1. End Task launcher from Task Manager

2. Search for WinRAR or 7-zip in the Windows Search Bar, right click and select Run as Administrator. For those that did not have either of them, download from the links below WinRAR 7-zip

3. Proceed to game installation folder in WinRAR/7-zip

You can check your installation folder through the launcher. Go to Settings > Find Game Files. The file path listed there will be your game installation folder

4. Select the following zip files if you see them

audio_zh-cn_5.3.0_5.4.0_hdiff_juLXEdublvTHwOPL.zip

Right click and select Extract Here Then click on Replace All when the prompt comes up

You might encounter some errors while extracting, try for up to 10 times to check if the file is truly corrupted, or use the checksum values provided in the Index

If the file ends up being corrupted, continue on with the following steps, and when you're done, run the Repair Game Files function in the launcher

5. Download hdiffpatch_v4.8.0_bin_windows64.zip from this following GitHub repository

6. Extract hpatchz.exe to the Genshin Impact game folder

7. Download GenshinPatcher tool from the following GitHub repository based on your current game version

I will demonstrate the following steps as if updating from version 5.1.0 to version 5.2.0

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE OUTSIDE OF OUR GITHUB REPOSITORY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES CAUSED BY BATCH FILES DOWNLOADED AND DISTRIBUTED OUTSIDE OF OUR CHANNELS

8. Extract everything in the GitHub repository to the Genshin Impact game folder, this includes:

• TH_GP_5.3.0-5.4.0.bat

• TH_GP_AudioPatch_[Language]_5.3.0-5.4.0.txt

• TH_GP_Cleanup_5.3.0-5.4.0.txt

9. Right click TH_GP_5.3.0-5.4.0.bat and select Run as Administrator

This will clean up all obsolete audio files, and patch the current audio files with the new delta patches

Take a sip of tea until the batch file finishes running. When it's done it will notify you to "Press any key to exit"

10. Type in Notepad in Windows Search Bar, right click and select Run as Administrator

11. Copy the following into Notepad, afterwards save it as config.ini, File Type: All Files

12. Delete any leftover files from GenshinPatcher and HDiffPatch repository if present in Genshin Impact game folder The final result of the Genshin Impact game folder should look like this:

13. Launch launcher again and it should now show Launch
