Update Issue: Redownloading Game Files after Update

Common cause: Unapplied update; Config error

Diagnosis

Identify your game version, first proceed to game installation folder

You can check your installation folder through the launcher. Go to Settings > Find Game Files. The file path listed there will be your game installation folder

Then right click GenshinImpact.exe and select Properties, and compare the details there with the details comparison in image below:

If the game is not updated, proceed to the next page on ways to update your game files

If the game is updated, continue reading the following steps

1. Press Windows key, type in Notepad, right click select Run as Administrator

2. Copy this into Notepad

3. Save as config.ini, File Type: All Files in the game installation folder

4. Relaunch launcher, it should now show Launch
