Launcher Update Error: Failed to unzip

Common cause: Launcher updater cannot extract downloaded package; Corrupted download

1. Head to <Installation directory>\Genshin Impact\updateProgram

Default installation directory of the launcher is C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\

2. Manually unzip pkg.zip, and click on replace all

Download decompressor tools such as WinRAR or 7-Zip to unzip the file

3. Relaunch the launcher again

1. Download the latest launcher installer version here

2. End task launcher from Task Manager

3. Run the launcher installer, and install the launcher at where you have it currently installed

(Click Advanced Options to change launcher Installation path) This will overwrite the current launcher installation with the latest one

4. Run the launcher again
